Here at Bold Maker, we love to empower all of the makers out there to come up with their own creations. We decided to make donuts in the spirit of the infamous Homer Simpson Doughnuts!
Place your pretzels into a bowl and pour your almond milk over them. Let that steep in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. The goal here is to get the almond milk to taste like pretzels.

Pour the milk and pretzels into a blender and pulse until you are left with a mushy texture. Strain the mixture. You can use a coffee filter, cheese cloth, or anything else at your disposal. Save your pretzel-flavored almond milk for the next steps.
Mix your dry ingredients: baking powder, flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Whisk your almond milk, egg and vegetable oil in a separate bowl. After whisking, pour the mixture into your dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Preheat the oven to 350F and spray your molds with cooking spray. This will make the doughnuts much easier to remove once they're done.
Fill each cavity of the mold with your mixture about ½-¾  full and bake for 10 minutes. The donuts should be soft and bounce back when you give them a poke. Bake for 2-3 minutes more if necessary.
Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes. Remove each donut from the mold and spread on the pink frosting. Toss on the sprinkles, and your Homer Simpson donuts are ready to serve!
